Automated Endo - Choose How You Learn
We happen to think we have a good and important message to deliver to dentists world wide. To spread that message we use this web page, advertising direct mail, and occasionally email announcements. To facilitate that effort we maintain a mailing list of dentists. We don't want to send mail to anyone who does not want it. And we don't want to miss anyone who DOES want to know more about our endo methods.

Thus I have created this special page to make it easy to be subtracted from or added to our list. If you know someone who we have missed, or if you have a different email or regular address where you would prefer to get your dental news, or would prefer not to get mail form us at all, this is the most efficient and effective way to let us know. If I have your email address, I probably also have your snail-mail address. We maintain a regular merge and purge operation but we need to be able to identify the record to change. That requires knowing which record to change. Thus this form.

After selecting "submit" you will have a chance to see the completed form in your own email application before sending it.

Thank you for your support.

Dr. Jack Jacklich

About the Course (Course Dates Listed Below)

The Automated Endo Course started touring the nation on July 12, 1976 and has been held more or less continually since then in every state in the U.S. A. except Alaska. It has also been presented in Canada and India. It boasts over 16,000 alumni(ae).

It is taught in the U.S. by Dr. Jack Jacklich, in India by Dr. Mona Kakar.

In its current form it is presented in two parts, lecture and practical with one day devoted to each.

Contrary to most endo courses, I DO NOT TEACH the anatomy, physiology, histology, oral biology or biochemistry of endo nor do I teach the restoration of endondontically treated teath.

what i do teach is the "nuts and bolts" of

in many cases the canal can be enlarged from 15 to 40 in less than a minute with one or two instruments using the Fine-Cut Endo Contra-angle.

But even more uniquely I'll teach you how to probe those canals that are seemingly impenetrable by other methods.

and to be even more specific, how to prepare it using the "Automated Endo Method" of preparation and filling.

I teach how the dentin cutting process works and how cutting instruments can best be used to affect canal enlargement and debridement.

i teach how to seal and fill a canal with the Fine-Cut Endo Cartridge Syringe using ADA certified sealers without getting overfills or underfills.

this course is designed not to fulfill requirements for "hours" although some agencies may grant credit for the course on application but for dentists who want to improve the care of their patients and want to do it in a most expeditious way.

You get to choose your learning method

Plan 1 - No Tuition Learn from the Web

you want to gain all the information you'll need to do the "Automated Endo" technique in your office but don't want to travel and don't want to pay tuition.

Some people learn best when they can read and research various techniques, compare it to others and determine the best procedure for his or her own office.

Use this web page as your private tutorial and once you decide what you need, simply purchase the equipment and learn on your own. I can relate to that because that's the way I learn the best.

There is no charge for this method.

Plan 2 - Learn from the Web with email consultation

You learn best by reading but need some questions answered to help overcome seeming contradictions and to clear up points that may or may not be important to the technique but are important to you.

Sign up for the on-line help method. You still read the information from the web and use email or the chat method provided to ask questions of the instructor. You fill out a simple form so we will recognize you as a participant when you contact us. You will get a student number and and ID which you will have to supply with each query or email.

There is no charge for this method.

Plan 5 Total Remote Participation Course

You want to get the practical as well as the didactic but you want to do it at your own pace and at your location. Or you are a member of a study group and want a group project for your study group. Tuition is $500 (the same whether one or a number of members participate.)

You sign up for our Remote Participation Plan.

You read the web pages, answer the quizzes, get these quizzes corrected, communicate with the course instruction as needed and when you are ready, we send you a set of course materials which are the same as would be used if you were to come to Kissimmee. If you choose, these can be sent on registration.

You keep that equipment as long as you need to in order to learn the technique. In a nutshell the cost of this method is 10% of the cost of the equipment per month with a mimimum two months.

Here's how that works:

  1. We charge your credit card for the equipment.
  2. We assume two weeks to deliver it, one month to use it and two weeks to return it should you decide not to keep it.
  3. The clock starts running the day we ship and stops the day we receive it back. Parts of a month are considered a month i.e. 60 days is two months, 61 is three.
  4. The minimum charge is 20%. We pay the shipping to you. (Any non-US shipping including customs duties are added.) You pay for getting it back to us. This takes the form of a 10% per month restocking fee i.e. you pay for the equipment in full and we refund an amount based upon how long you kept it.
  5. You can buy additional materials if you choose, these are not part of the course and are not returnable without incurring a restocking fee.
  6. The materials you will receive are:
    • One Fine-Cut Endo Contra-Angle @$699
    • One Fine-Cut Endo Cartridge Syringe @ $249
    • One Lynx Four Hole Air Motor @$299 (this is returnable for full credit if you already have a motor that fits. Must be returned within 30 days)
    • An assortment of 6 Fine-Cut files for the handpiece (included in tuition) Extra files are $29.95 per package of six.
    • An assortment of 6 Fine-Cut hand files (included in Tuition)
    • Six cartridges for cartridge syringe (included in tuition) Extra cartridges are $99 per package of 25.
    • A small sample size of root canal sealer power and liquid (included in tuition). Extra powder and liquid costs $76.50 for powder and $48.50 for liquid.
    • A dozen plastic root canal blocks for practice (included in tuition) Extras are $19.95 for a package of 20.

The tuition for the Kissimmee participation course is only $200 (for courses in U.S.), which by the way, is the same per day tuition charged when the course began in 1976.

This web page contains virtually all of the material that will be presented in the first day of the course, so if you want the information without the travel and tuition cost, be my guest, I encourage it.

If you want to take the participation course but feel that you can glean all the information you need from this web page, I will not object if you choose to play hooky from the first day of the course to spend the day at Disney World or Universal Studios or Sea World or on the golf course.

Do not, however, expect me to take time away from those who attended the first day to explain something that you should have learned from the web. I will assume that you know it as well as they do.

you may have noticed that there are some links that have the word [QUIZ] preceding them. At the end of these linked documents is a four or five question quiz that you can fill out and email to me.

Now here is where it gets tricky.

You can register for the full course, pay your tuition and consult me either face to face (via Skype Video or Mac iChat Video) or via text chat using either Skype, iChat, AOL Chat, or you can click on the link on the top of this page to initiate a LivePerson text chat, when I'm at my computer which is most of the time. If you choose the LivePerson chat, I can feed your computer links that we can both look at while chatting. (You've got to allow pop-ups to do that.)

alternatively you can fill out the registration form below for the same consideration that is given to paying attendees. in essence you can test drive the course before committing to paying tuition and coming to Kissimmee. I do not do individual video chat with non-registered, non-attendees i.e. all I will do is check the answers on your quiz and send you a canned email with the correct answers.

During the participation day of the course, you will have all the necessary equipment and supplies with which to do the exercises. We work straight thru lunch (sandwiches and soft drinks, coffee, tea and juices are provided.)

we start promptly at 9 am and quit at 5 pm. the first hour or so is devoted to demonstration of the prep and filling process. the rest of the day is for skills development (those in the "ed biz" call it psychomotor skills). Because of state health department rules and OSHA requirements we do not supply extracted teeth although you may bring your own. We do supply plastic practice blocks.

Unopened packages of files, etc. can be returned. Opened packages of files are yours to keep. We will bill your credit card for the kit when we ship it and refund all but the 20% on used equipment and unused and unopened supplies returned to us in good shape.

Attendance at the participation courses is limited to 12 dentists. Sorry no spouses or assistants can attend with you. We just don't have the room. Taking the on-line course or the take-home course, has unlimited enrollment.

our phone number for registration is 800-538-6835 or you can register by using the email form below. If you wish we can call your office to get the credit card number if you register by email.
