Fine-Cut SPeed Files have a special head which fits within a special holder that allows the file to 'float' instead of being held rigidly. This allows the file to assume a neutral position so that if the plane of the curve of the file doesn't exactly match the plane of the curve of the canal, the file automatically lines up with the canal preventing adverse cutting and breakage. Additionally this saves time because in multi-rooted teeth, you pre-curve the file once and when introduced into another canal it lines up with that one. -- These blades are identical to Fine-Cut Hand Files and have a very low helical angle and very small inter-flute distance. In the Fine-Cut Endo Handpiece they can be used for circumferential filing as well as probing.

Lynx LS Air Motor 4hole/E-type $299.00 LX0401 We have found the Lynx Air Motor to be best suited for use with the Fine Cut Endo Handpiece. It can rotate at approximately 20,000 rpm reliably. Since how fast endo canals can be prepared depends on the number of circumferential strokes per minute, and some other handpieces rotate only 7000 or so, this materially slows down the process. When a Fine Cut Endo Handpiece is shipped, unless the doctor is sure he has a compatible handpiece, we usually send one of these to drive it, with the understanding that it can be returned for full refund if the doctor finds his old air or electric e-type connector motor to be satisfactory. Curving Tool $39.00 CT0001 This clever device looks so simple yet is perfectly suited for its purpose, namely to put a nice smooth curve on either an endo file or an endo needle. Internally there is a precision ball bearing that allows the end to spin on its long axis while the distal end is hand held. The file is laid flat on a sheet or rubber or thick paper and flexed upward while the end of the Curving Tool is rolled toward the end. To curve a needle, the rotating end of the Curving Tool is pressed against it and the needle pulled upward and away from the tool. Since it is all stainless steel, with a little maintenance and a little sip of oil once in a while it should outlast most dentists who use it. Quantity
